Hello! I was wondering how LADS boys would react to an MC who has somnambulism. (Love your work!)

hihi!! i had to google that lol bc ive never seen the actual like, medical term for sleepwalking used!! if youre comfortable answering/someone else might have any ideas is there any reason why that was used rather than the laymans term?? im just curious if thats alright!! ive also combined them all bc i dont see it differing too much!!

He gets up at the slightest shift of your body getting out of bed and makes it a habit to follow after you to make sure you don't accidentally hurt yourself. He's overly cautious about ensuring that all the doors are locked and to keep your keys out of reach in case you get the bright idea to try to drive away.

Honestly, he's considered the idea of tying you to bed somehow - excluding Zayne But only like, jokingly because he knows that definitely isn't the best way to keep you safe. He'd much rather devote all his time to essentially baby proof your entire home if he needs to to protect you. Just the thought of you being able to wander around freely is very scary to him - especially in the case of Sylus and Rafayel. He doesn't really live anywhere safe enough for you to be wandering around asleep so he's extra careful about locking the doors and making it impossible for you to leave without him noticing.

He makes it a point to read up on sleepwalking and how to best manage and support you. He also makes sure that whatever actions he takes are all ones that you want/approve of so you don't feel like he's infantalising you. He'd hate to do that so you do have a very active part in all of this.

Xavier doesn't normally sleep lightly but he can't really help it when you tell him about the fact that you sleepwalk, worried that you'd need him but he wouldn't be there for you.

Girl idk about yall but to me caleb seemed HURT when he had to pull out that bad cop facade that man does NAWT like seeing mc hurt.... like im being so fr when i say this, compared to the other guys in lads, caleb and sylus are the ones that care the most deeply for mc in the story (im not talking about the destiny cafe or falling for you or any of those, i mean the actual STORY story), or atleast the current version of her. Truthfully, he knows it's all in good fun, and he's not completely jealous. He's actually pretty glad you found a nice outlet that helps you with relieving stress from you day to day. He knows you need it.

Why else would he be asking you what the latest event is in your game with your fictional partner, and then miraculously a week later you're receiving the very same things or experiences in reality on your day off?

But also, something you won't ever consider- is maybe he's doing those things for you, not only to make you happy, but to show you just how much attention he pays to the things you tell him about.

Zayne is not at all threatened by whoever this 'Jumim Hen' guy is.

Yes he is mispronouncing it on purpose. No he will not correct himself until he's gotten enough humor out of it and frustrated you enough about it.

Once that happens, he'll start pronouncing it correctly and if confronted about his change in pronunciation, he will pretend you need a wellness check and request you make an appointment with his secretary.

Smooth way to spend more time with you while subtlety calling you crazy.

He mostly does just think it's cute, though.

He will buy you food from places that might be having game events that get you special merchandise or in-game prizes, even if you don't realize there's a surprise event happening because it wasn't advertised in your game.

No, he's not weird and expects you to stop playing once the two of you start dating. He realizes it's something you enjoy a lot, and he actually finds a lot of pleasure in listening to you ramble about situations that are happening in your game.

He finds most things you do endearing.

Sylus -

You're giggling over it, that's all the matters to him.

He is rubbing the bridge of his nose though, because you had been building up to this moment for over a week and he was convinced you were going to show him an actual psychopath or something and he was going to have to figure out a way to make the man disappear without you realizing it was Sylus's doing.

He probably won't make any vague comments about how your fictional boyfriend is strangely similar to himself and that maybe you have a type.

Once you're dating him, he has some access to your device and the game, simply so that he can reload your currency whenever you go to sleep. He doesn't want you to run out, and he knows you love playing. What else is his money good for if not for making you smile?

Doesn't understand it, but he does make mental notes of your current progress in the storyline and which characters you like. But sometimes he'll pretend to forget an important detail.

He was a bit confused at first, but figured out what was going on rather quickly.

He thinks it's adorable, like when he first found out how much you love claw machines and the plushies inside of them. He doesn't see it as much different- the love interests are your plushies in the game, and your fictional partner is your favorite "plushie".

Easy.

Xavier has lowkey cosplayed your game boyfriend at least once, acting innocent about it and as if it was completely unintentional.

If you're dating by then, he lets you 'borrow' the clothes, so now you have an article from your game, but it also smells like he does. He's only allowed them back once they lose their scent.

He only accepts gratitude and payment for the favor of wearing them again in the form of snuggling with him on the couch, his arms wrapped up around you as he nuzzles into your neck.

He needs your "help" for a little bit.

Alright have officially reviewed all four memories and it's time for the spicy rankings!!!!

Spoilers for all the cards below

Starting at the least spicy card in this lineup. The least spicy card was Zayne: Absolute Zeal. I loved my man so much! But it was definitely the least spicy card. It gave me much more Husband and Wife vibes than the high passion expected with Spicy Cards but I wasn't disappointed at what we did get from this card. I think it fits Zayne and the relationship he has with MC very well!! I love the ending so much you can't even believe it 😭.

The 3rd spicy card was Xavier: Misty Silhouette. It was a fun card and there were certainly interesting moments, based off his other cards I was expecting a little more from Xavier but it holds up very well by itself as a spicy card. However compared to the next two there is a visible gap.

The one that comes in Second Place is: Rafayel: Intertidal Zone. Wow. That Card. Rafayel has maintained his trophy for the most spicy cards cause damn. I was at a loss for words. That passion/desperation that I've mentioned before in his cards IS VERY much present here. He was a fish in a drought XD

Finally in First Place is Sylus: Night of Secrecy.

Sylus did very well from himself in this card oml. The entire card had me on the edge of my seat. The moments before and after that kindred really sealed the deal for me and my friend with this ranking list.

Special Mentions for funny moments go to in no particular order:

#1. Charlie the Baker! Sorry Neighbor lmfaoo he was just trying to be nice and Xavier was being a jelly boi

#2. That single piece of chocolate. Zayne really is banned from alcohol. It was just infused. I was so sure he was faking and he was infact not. He forgot he had a fingerprint lock on his door and failed his passcode like 6 times.

#3. Sylus new slippers. Congratulations 🎉🎉

#4. The Reception Hotline. They deserve a raise. Im still not sure if Rafayel actually hung up 😭

a note on fish: this man is an apex ocean predator. he is okay eating fish as well as many other sea creatures. he enjoys sashimi, in fact. (sidenote about the author, cant do sashimi because of the texture, but i do like sushi! i am tragically basic, california roll is my favorite.)

realized while answering this i have a very bad memory 😭😭 i only remember the parts that hurt me the most 💔 but the first thing that comes to mind is that one scene in yves from virche evermore's route. when mc accidentally sees his scar and hes crying thinking she'll leave him or be scared of him bc of it just like every person in his life. but she doesn't she stays with him she tells him that she thinks hes beautiful and she kisses his scar. i cried so much in that scene i love my yves so much 😭😭

14. exceeded expectations:

although i havent finished it yet, mystic messenger definitely exceeded my expectations. the other texting based dating sim i played "30 days to love" was good but pretty basic. i was expecting smth similar from mystic messenger at first. but now i realized its not like that at all so it really is way better than expected. ive only done 707's route so far and im actually head over heels for him. and thats without even going into the lore 😭

i havent played that many otome games in my life actually. like ~8 of them?? although i love them all for their very own reasons... virche evermore is Really hard to top like they truly cooked with this one ‼️ gave me a reason to live. the love interests, the story, the routes, the despair endings, the salvation endings, everything. i have never cried as much for a game or any piece of media, as i did for virche evermore. although some routes were a little too much for even me to handle it kind of made me love it more. i literally stayed awake till 5 am every night for 2 weeks while playing virche. i enjoy emotional pain and suffering tbh. i could go into actual heavy detail on why and how much i love virche evermore but its 3 am and i have to wake up in 3 hours 💔💔
